WOMEN'S WORLD CUP TODAY: THURSDAY 27 JULY

The BBC and ITV will provide live television coverage of the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. In total all 64 matches from the tournament, which starts in Auckland on July 20, will be broadcast in the UK on either the BBC or ITV, except for the Final, which will be shown across both BBC One and ITV1.



USA v Netherlands

2am, BBC

Coverage of USA playing the Netherlands in the 2023 Women's World Cup. Reshmin Chowdhury presents, with analysis from Anita Asante and Fern Williams, and commentary by Steve Wyeth and Fara Williams.



Portugal v Vietnam

8:30am, ITV

Michelle Owen presents the Group E match, held at Waikato Stadium. With analysis from Fran Kirby and Jen Beattie, and commentary by Seb Hutchinson and Lucy Ward.


Australia v Nigeria

11am, BBC

Alex Scott is joined by Steph Houghton and Rachel Brown-Finnis as co-hosts Australia take on Nigeria in Brisbane. Jonathan Pearce and Gilly Flaherty provide commentary.
