Frank Skinner is to host a pilot recording for a new history-based comedy panel show The Greatest Quiz Of All Time.

The show will explore the "funniest and weirdest" moments from world history and see celebrity guests compete to correctly place historic events on a giant timeline. The show records later this month on London, with audience tickets available via SRO Audiences.
Meanwhile, TV channel TLC will be relaunched in January 2026 as a free-to-air channel in the UK which will bring viewers a broad entertainment offer with the hugely popular scripted comedy series The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, new spin-off Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage and Mike & Molly.
Plus, unscripted titles will include a new look Mock The Week. Warner Bros. Discovery today announced it will be rebooting the former BBC comedy panel show for 2026, having previously run on BBC Two for 21 series and over 200 episodes.
Speaking in 2022, the BBC commented: "The next series of Mock The Week will be the last, we are really proud of the show but after 21 series we have taken the difficult decision in order to create room for new shows..."
Graham Lafferty, SVP Content Strategy & Networks, WBD UK & Ireland, said: “We are thrilled to announce a new-look line-up of content for TLC in the UK and Ireland for January 2026 - and that we are able to bring the channel to more viewers with a move to free-to-air in the UK...
"Through TLC, we are excited to commission and curate a broad entertainment channel that spans both scripted and unscripted content, including award-winning shows like The Big Bang Theory, through to a new-look  British comedy staple like Mock the Week.
More details will be announced in due course.
