Random Rewind: we look back at some the best, and occasionally worst, entertainment shows from the past decade.
Alphabetical
2016, ITV
Alphabetical was an ITV daytime quiz hosted by Jeff Stelling. The first series ran for just 10 episodes in 2016. It was later commissioned for a second episode, comprising of 20 episodes in late 2017.
Each episode saw three challengers and the previous days' champion compete for the cash prize. The champion of each episode would go through to the next day's episode.
Questions were given to the contestants in a variety of rounds. These included First Letter, where each answer would begin with the same first letter, and Last Letter, where each answer would end with the same letter.
The format was based on Spanish quiz Pasapalabra.
