SALLY LINDSAY RETURNS FOR 80s AND CHRISTMAS QUIZ NIGHTS ON 5

5 have commissioned a further two instalments of Sally Lindsay's Quiz Night, including an 80s special and a Christmas special.

The format had its first outing this Spring with a 1970s special which saw host Sally Lindsay joined by team captains and huge nostalgia fans John Thomson and Shaparak Khorsandi, along with their teams of celebrity guests.

With questions to answer, games to play, and classic clips to enjoy, the two teams go head to head to find out who remembers the most about the 1970s. They compete across a series of fun rounds, based on topics from sitcoms to scary children's programmes, food to pop music, game shows to the biggest headlines of the decade.

Celebrity guests joining Sally, Shaparak and John were Sally James (Tiswas), Matthew Kelly (Stars in their Eyes), Sue Pollard (Hi-de-Hi!) and Steve Edge (The Madame Blanc Mysteries).
