Ncuti Gatwa will be the United Kingdom’s Eurovision spokesperson delivering the results of the UK’s National Jury live during the Grand Final on Saturday 17 May 2025.

Ncuti joins the illustrious BBC Eurovision family, following in the footsteps of previous spokespeople, Joanna Lumley, Catherine Tate and Nigella Lawson, amongst many others.
Famous for his role as The Doctor in Doctor Who, Ncuti as the UK’s Eurovision spokesperson, marks a fabulous collision of parallel BBC universes, interstellar bookings, and extra special treats for BBC viewers. On Saturday 17 May or Super Saturday the BBC will bring the nation together for an evening of ‘event television’.
Alongside the spectacle that will be the Eurovision Grand Final, audiences will also be treated to an extra special Eurovision themed episode of Doctor Who (The Interstellar Song Contest).
This – the sixth episode in the current season sees The Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu) travel to the 803rd Interstellar Song Contest, co-hosted by Rylan – where planets from across the universe compete for the top prize. Along for the ride is the King of Eurovision himself, Graham Norton.
From the Interstellar Song Contest, it’s onto the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final itself (8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer), where, in a bid to be crowned the Eurovision champion 2025, twenty-five countries and the UK’s act, Remember Monday will perform at the biggest song competition on the world.
Whether you’re hosting a Eurovision party, cooking up a national dish, donning a unique Eurovision outfit, or simply rooting for the UK at home with the family, Saturday 17 May will be a night to remember as the BBC brings people together to enjoy the spectacle of Eurovision and root for Remember Monday with their song What The Hell Just Happened? at Eurovision 2025.
See Ncuti deliver the results of the UK National Jury live during the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final, Saturday 17 May from 8pm (BST) on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Doctor Who: The Interstellar Song Contest, written by Juno Dawson, is the sixth episode of the second season and will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer from 8am on Saturday 17 May.
