David Mitchell and Robert Webb are returning to Channel 4 with a brand-new sketch show, which sees them combine forces with a host of exciting and innovative future stars, marking a bold return to British sketch comedy with an innovative merging of comedy minds across generations.

Mitchell & Webb will be supported by an ensemble cast of next generation writer/performers:Â Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Lara Ricote, Stevie Martin, and Krystal Evans, plus a dynamic team of established and upcoming comic writers.Â
Episode 1: In this episode: the world’s most dangerous suitcase; 18th century housemates grapple with the latest in tech, the toilet; and foulmouthed family feuding in Sweary Aussie Drama. Plus an unhelpful therapist, a porn star who really does have a big spanner, and an evil villain with a flaw in his plan. And a drama about the making of both the dramas about the making of the Prince Andrew documentary…
Episode 2: This episode introduces Hot Seat, the world’s shallowest new TV gameshow; the story behind the making of a 70’s pop classic; and a radio talk show host interviewing a very unusual xylophone player. Plus David and Rob’s word clouds are revealed, there’s a very frightening film promo and an exploration of the ethics not having your phone on silent during a murder.
Episode 3: Sketches include a very bad spy; TV’s least exciting reality show ever; and some Puritans try to out-puritan each other. Plus, a sound-effects man with a rather unusual approach; and a fun new board 4 game all about the great taste of bran. And there’s another heart-breaking and ear-scorching instalment of Sweary Aussie Drama.

Episode 4: In this episode there’s an actor choosing the perfect last words; a teacher who has slightly misunderstood the job; and a surprise appearance by the late great novelist E M Forster in the wrong century. Plus, something that may or may not be a fire drill and a bit of confusion over who’s the daddy.
Episode 5: In this episode we discover the real cause of climate change, and it’s good news and bad news… Plus there’s a visit to TV’s most wholesome heirloom-repair show, The Weeping Shed; another instalment of high stakes bad language in Sweary Aussie Drama; and Channel 4’s lawyers have to intervene in the show’s writers’ room.
Episode 6: In this episode a disturbing documentary about communal living; a surprising way to assess new teachers; and some parents try to deal with an unusual announcement about their daughter’s sexuality. Plus a group of aliens want to show off their new idea for a sitcom.
