LINGO SET FOR THIRD SERIES AFTER RATINGS SUCCESS
Popular daytime quiz Lingo, hosted by Adil Ray, looks set to return for a third series on ITV.
In each show, three pairs of contestants go head-to-head in a battle of words. Using their powers of deduction, they must correctly and quickly work out the words that appear in the Lingo grids.
Through three rounds the three pairs are whittled down to one winning couple. That winning pair then play in a nail-biting end game, where they have the opportunity to win the money they've banked earlier in the show, potentially even doubling their winnings.
The show has been a hit with viewers, regularly winning its slot and watched by a many as 1.3m viewers every day.
Meanwhile, ITV are to repeat over fifty episodes from series one and two in the coming weeks, with the show remaining in the 3pm daytime slot from Monday 7th February.
Lingo airs weekdays at 3pm on ITV. Previous episodes available to stream on ITV Hub.
