BBC CONFIRMS SCHEDULE FOR EUROVISION WEEK

The BBC have confirmed its schedule for the week leading up to the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

Tuesday 7th May

8pm - Semi-Final 1

Rylan and Scott Mills are live from Malmö, Sweden, for the first semi-final of the world’s biggest music competition, with Olly Alexander, the UK’s representative, taking to the Eurovision stage for his first live performance of Dizzy.

10:50pm - Olly Alexander's Road To Eurovision

This revealing film follows high-profile pop star Olly Alexander as he navigates the road to representing the United Kingdom at Eurovision, the biggest song contest in the world.

Wednesday 8th May

10:40pm - Abba: Against All The Odds

2024 is the 50th anniversary of ABBA’s iconic performance and victory at Eurovision. With the contest taking place in Sweden, this film celebrates that historic occasion by telling the epic story of ABBA’s greatest period of musical achievement.

Thursday 9th May

8pm - Semi-Final 2

Highlights include early favourite Nemo for Switzerland with their song The Code, Austria’s Kaleen, with her 90s-inspired dance anthem We Will Rave, and Joost Klein for the Netherlands, whose viral hit EuroPapa has already broken all streaming records in his home country. Also performing, but guaranteed a place in the final, are members of the ‘Big Five’, Italy, France and Spain.
