Cyclist-extraordinaire Sarah Storey begins her challenge to become Britain's most successful Paralympian as she'll be hoping to go for gold in the final of the 3000m Individual Pursuit - live from the Izu Velodrome. Crystal Lane-Wright also features for GB in the event.



Clare Balding is in the chair for a packed session of live sport from Tokyo, with Toni Shaw, Reece Dunn and Jessica-Jane Applegate among Britain's potential medal hopes in the pool.


Ellie Simmonds will be hoping to go for gold in the S6 50m Freestyle as Channel 4's coverage of the Tokyo Paralympic Games continues with live swimming action. Plus, Strictly Come Dancing star Will Bayley dumps the sequins and gets back to the day job as he takes part in table tennis qualification.


Ade Adepitan presents the pick of Day 1's action as he travels around Tokyo taking in the key moments of the Paralympic Games. Among those featured are cyclist Sarah Storey, who is bidding to win three golds to become GB's most successful Paralympian. Plus, on a packed opening day, swimmer Ellie Simmonds goes for gold and the women's wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby teams begin their campaigns for glory.
