The Great British Bake Off returned to Channel 4 on Tuesday 22nd September to 7,187,200 viewers. This was higher than the first live show of Strictly Come Dancing which was watched by 6,203,500 - down nearly 1.5m on last year.
The Great British Bake Off and Strictly Come Dancing are streaming now on Channel 4 and BBC iPlayer respectively.
