MO GILLIGAN'S THAT'S MY JAM SET TO BE AXED BY BBC AFTER ONE SERIES
EXCLUSIVE
The BBC are set to axe That's My Jam after just one series, TV Zone understands. The BBC declined to comment when approached by TV Zone.
That’s My Jam was based on the original US show hosted by Jimmy Fallon, which draws inspiration from the wildly popular musical segments on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Signature games from the US version include Launch The Mic, Air Guitar, Don’t Drop The Beat and Slay It, Don’t Spray It.
Each week two new teams of celebrities will take on a host of super-sized musical challenges, as they compete to be declared That’s My Jam champions. Mo pushes their singing abilities, performance skills and musical knowledge to the ultimate limit, as they blast their best vocals and bust their greatest moves.
Celebrity guests on the first series included Singer-songwriter Aloe Blacc; Actress, singer and producer Amber Riley (Glee); Musician Becky Hilll; Actor and musician Billy Boyd (The Lord of the Rings); Actress Camilla Luddington (Grey’s Anatomy); Queen of hip-hop Cheryl James (Salt-N-Pepa) and actor Chris Carmack (Grey’s Anatomy).
That's My Jam is available now on BBC iPlayer. The BBC declined to comment on this report when approached by TV Zone.
