Prime Video has released a brand-new trailer for The Grand Tour, ahead of all six episodes launching exclusively on Prime Video on Friday 4th September.

The Grand Tour roars back with celebrated trainspotter and secret petrolhead Francis Bourgeois, alongside James Engelsman and Thomas Holland, the acclaimed creators of the YouTube phenomenon Throttle House, behind the wheel.

In their first series at The Grand Tour wheel, Francis, James and Thomas tackle the big, important motoring questions of our time, including: can you sneak undetected across Colorado in a trio of Japanese microcars? And: what’s the most unbreakable car in history? And: if you urgently need to put something onto the head of F1 driver Alex Albon is there anything quicker to get it there than a Pagani hypercar?

Featuring guest appearances from Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and F1 World Champion Jenson Button, the series is packed with globetrotting adventure.

The team visit California to test out the latest, greatest American muscle cars - the Ford Mustang GTD, Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, and $2.75m, 2000-horsepower Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Evolution – by taking on a bunch of fighter jets. Obviously.

Elsewhere, Francis, James and Thomas head to Malaysia to delve into the nation’s rich car culture while also investigating just how little you can spend on a sports car without it immediately blowing up, before journeying through the desert of Angola in track-cars utterly unsuited for the job.

The Grand Tour returns Friday 4th September on Prime Video.
