ROONEY: CHANNEL 4 ACQUIRE WAYNE ROONEY DOCUMENTARY

Channel 4 are to air Rooney, a captivating feature length documentary with unprecedented access to the life and career of a global sports-star and England’s greatest ever striker.

The biopic features unseen rare archive footage of Rooney’s childhood, looking at his relationship with his family, his Sunday League days at Coppelhouse Boys and his first moments in an Everton shirt.

The single documentary provides a profound insight into the events that shaped Wayne Rooney into the footballing icon he is today.

Rooney is available on Prime Video now, and will air on Channel 4 on Monday 20th November.
