Death In Paradise | Series 12 Preview (BBC One)

The hit BBC One drama returns for its twelfth series.

Series 12 will guest star Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Les Dennis, Jo Martin and Siobhan McSweeney. Also appearing will be Amit Shah, Chelsea Edge and Kevni Eldon. The new series will be proceeded by a Christmas special later this year.

Filmed on the French Caribbean Island of Guadeloupe, the Death In Paradise Christmas Special will continue to offer the show’s endearing mix of escapism as well as compelling whodunnits and deeply satisfying plot twists.

The team investigate the mysterious death of an astronomer after he falls from a cliff during a rare planetary event. Meanwhile, is romance blossoming for Neville?

Executive Producer Tim Key says: “We had been wanting to do a Death In Paradise Christmas special for years, and so to be starting production on our second one this year is brilliant. We’ve got a fantastic story which comes loaded with all the mystery, intrigue and surprise that our fans love to see.”
