PICKS OF THE MONTH: MARCH 2026, NEW AND RETURNING TITLES REVEALED

The new and returning programming airing this March revealed.

 THE OTHER BENNET SISTER

The story begins at Longbourn, the Bennet family home, where Mr and Mrs Bennet preside over a lively household of five unmarried daughters: Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty, and Lydia. As society’s pressures mount, the Bennet sisters navigate the glittering yet precarious world of Regency England, where marriage is both aspiration and necessity.

While her sisters pursue romance and social triumph, Mary embarks on a very different path. Leaving Longbourn behind, she travels to London to live with her aunt and uncle, Mr and Mrs Gardiner, in their elegant home on Gracechurch Street. There, Mary begins a journey of self-discovery, stepping out of the shadows and into her own story.

 ELLIS

Fresh from her victories in series one, DCI Ellis is once again parachuted into failing cases across the north of England. With Harper at her side, she faces a new wave of fractured communities and suspicious deaths that test not only her forensic brilliance but her resilience.

The series takes them from a rural village, where the suspicious death of a beloved community leader exposes long-nursed resentments, to the industrial shadow of a stone works, where the death of a young woman reveals a hidden network of coercion and exploitation. Every case peels back layers of silence, ambition, and betrayal.

 SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE

Broadcast live each week, this brand-new UK version brings the high-wire, anything-can-happen energy that makes SNL a cultural force, now reimagined through a distinctly British lens. A new guest host will take the helm each week, putting their distinctive stamp on the SNL formula alongside a chart-topping musical guest. 

Written, rehearsed and performed in the week of each show, every episode is staged in front of a live studio audience and features an opening monologue, topical sketches, live music, and a UK take on SNL’s iconic news satire, Weekend Update.

 THE CAPTURE

It’s been 12 months since Rachel Carey (Holliday Grainger) broadcast a live deepfake of a government minister to the nation, exposing the UK intelligence service’s clandestine video manipulation programme known as Correction. Amidst an inquiry into the unlawful use of Correction, Carey has become Acting Commander of Counter Terrorism Command, determined to regain the public’s trust in surveillance technology through the new Operation Veritas camera system.

And then it happens: a brutal and exceptionally well-coordinated act of terror aimed right at the heart of the British establishment that leaves behind just one witness. The more Carey investigates, the deeper she is drawn into an unfolding geopolitical crisis that infects the British political establishment, the security services, and the media.

 BOARDERS

Boarders follows five talented black inner-city teens transported to an alien world – an elite British boarding school – after gaining scholarships to the prestigious St. Gilbert’s. Now they’ve made it to the final term, exams are looming and the pressure is on. They’ve set their sights on big futures - but new dramas are erupting everywhere. A shocking school rivalry brings violence, love triangles and shattered friendships. Can the scholarship kids conquer the madness to come out on top?

 THE CLAUDIA WINKLEMAN SHOW

Produced by So Television - part of ITV Studios and the production company behind the hugely successful and multi award-winning The Graham Norton Show - each episode will see Claudia, who is best known for co-presenting Strictly Come Dancing and hosting The Traitors, welcome the biggest names from the worlds of film, television, music and beyond to her sofa for lively conversation with the help of a studio audience.

 CELEBRITY SABOTAGE

Joel Dommett, Judi Love, Sam Thompson and GK Barry - alongside a whole host of celebrities - get ready to shock the nation in a brand-new ITV entertainment reality game show. Celebrity Sabotage is a new entertainment reality game show that will see Joel, Judi, Sam and GK team up to playfully sabotage unsuspecting contestants.

Their mission? To complete daring and funny stunts in order to win a secret cash prize for the participants! Each week our gang of celebrity saboteurs will be joined by a new guest sab oteur including Jill Scott MBE, Fay Ripley, Olivia Attwood, Jo Brand, Guz Khan and Harry Redknapp who will join in on all the action and cause even more mischief and mayhem.

 GONE

A gripping psychological thriller from the pen of acclaimed screenwriter George Kay (The Long Shadow, Hijack, Lupin) and starring Eve Myles and David Morrissey. Set against the backdrop of a prestigious private school, a foreboding forest and the quiet sprawl of Bristol, Gone is a chilling mystery focusing on local headmaster Michael Polly, played by David Morrissey (The Long Shadow, Sherwood, Britannia), who becomes the prime suspect in his wife Sarah’s disappearance.

An upstanding member of the community, Michael Polly is inscrutable and likes order and precision in his working life - until, that is, he encounters super bright and gutsy detective Annie Cassidy, played by Eve Myles (The Crow Girl, Hijack, Torchwood), and a compulsive game of cat and mouse begins as she chips away at his veneer in search of the truth.

 THE PRINCESS DIARIES

Highlights throughout the first series included Princess’ catwalk debut at the Ibiza Fashion Festival, and an access all areas insight into Princess’ career as she set about signing her first major brand partnership. With her milestone birthday now behind her, cameras will follow Princess as she sets about asserting her independence and forging ahead with her career goals. 

 THE OSCARS

On the big night itself, Sunday 15th March 2026, viewers can join Jonathan Ross live on ITV1 and ITVX as he helms a dedicated show, bringing all the action from Hollywood to UK screens. This will feature live coverage of the Oscars red carpet with Ross King and Angelique Jackson reporting live from the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, immediately followed by the main awards ceremony which starts at midnight. Once again, he will be joined by a panel of film-loving guests to reflect on Hollywood’s biggest night of the year.

 SIX NATIONS

A top-tier punditry line-up will join Mark Pougatch and Jill Douglas providing expert analysis of every key clash. ITV’s pundits include: Jonny Wilkinson, Brian O'Driscoll, Dan Biggar, Ronan O'Gara, Jamie Roberts, John Barclay, Rory Best, Sergio Parisse, Benjamin Kayser, Ugo Monye, Maggie Alphonsi and Greig Laidlaw.

 BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT

Series continues

The nation’s most beloved talent show is back and returns to ITV’s Saturday night line-up in 2026, once again taking centre stage across the spring season. Ant & Dec will lead the nation through a new round of unforgettable auditions as performers showcase their talents in the hope of reaching the live semi-finals, and winning over the four individual judges: Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and returning judge KSI.

 THE GREAT CELEBRITY BAKE OFF

Each episode, this year’s celebrity bakers will roll up their sleeves and take on the Signature, Technical and Showstopper challenges, all in the hope of impressing the judges and avoiding a soggy bottom. By the end of each show, only one star will rise above the rest and be crowned Star Baker.

Joining Paul Hollywood at the judging table is Bake Off: The Professionals judge, Cherish Finden, an internationally renowned pastry chef, celebrated for her exceptional technical skill and meticulous approach to patisserie. Bake Off hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding also return, on hand to offer encouragement, laughter and a comforting shoulder as the celebrity bakers go head-to-head in the Bake Off tent.

 HANDCUFFED: LAST PAIR STANDING

A bold new series hosted by Jonathan Ross which takes eight pairs of strangers with completely opposed opinions, beliefs, lifestyles, and bad habits, and handcuffs them together 24/7 in the ultimate test of survival. The couples will be handcuffed together through thick and thin, as they navigate eating, dressing and even sleeping just inches apart.

Shackled around the clock, the pairs will be sent on a road trip across our beautiful nation, in the hope they find common ground along the way.  If a pair can last longest chained together, they’ll be in the running for a £100,000 jackpot – but if it proves too much and they demand to be unchained, their shot at the jackpot is gone. Drawn from across the UK, the couples will represent the wide range of views and opinions found in modern Britain. 

 A WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE

 WINTER PARALYMPICS

Broadcasting more than 60 hours of sport live from the Italian Dolomites across Channel 4 and Channel 4 Streaming, with every minute of action on Channel 4 Sport’s YouTube, Channel 4 continues to build on its pioneering achievements of bringing audiences accessible Paralympics coverage.

All content will be subtitled, live broadcast coverage will have live audio description available from 10:30am each day, and the daily highlights programme will feature live British Sign Language translation. Plus, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies are to be simulcast on 4seven and Channel 4 Streaming with BSL and an open descriptive commentary. 

 CRUFTS

Claudia Winkleman is to join Clare Balding and the team to present live coverage of the world’s most famous dog show, Crufts, when it returns to Channel 4. Regular Crufts reporter Radzi Chinyanganya returns, alongside Paralympic champion swimmer Ellie Simmonds who is back for a second year in the halls of Birmingham’s NEC to present features and interviews and discover the latest news from the biggest dog show in the world.

 MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT AUSTRALIA

The popular dating show sees a whole new bunch of singles go on the journey of their lifetime by going on bucks night for the boys, and hens night for the ladies. The couples will then say ‘I do’ after meeting each other for the first time on their wedding day. But that’s just the start, after the celebrations are over, their relationships will really be put to the test as they go on a luxury honeymoon, before moving in with each other AND their fellow couples.
