In a first for The Piano, the duo will be accompanied by a chart-topping, star-studded line up of five different seasoned musicians.

The nation’s favourite instrument takes centre stage once more, with another round of amateur pianists performing on public pianos in major UK train stations across the UK, sharing their musical stories with passers-by.
Tiffany Poon, known for her interpretive, atmospheric, and emotional pianist precision will join the team at Birmingham New Street Station.
Jools Holland OBE is set to accompany the search at London Bridge Station, offering expertise as composer, pianist, bandleader, broadcaster and doyen of the music scene.
Hiromi, world-renowned Japanese jazz composer and pianist known for her virtuosic technique and blending of musical genres will step in with the duo at York Station.
Alice Sara Ott, one of today’s most forward-thinking classical musicians, joins forces with the Claudia and Mika at Manchester Piccadilly Station, bringing along her orchestral and visionary artistic music knowledge.
Finally, joining the mission to find exceptional amateur pianists is English jazz-pop singer, pianist, songwriter and radio presenter Jamie Cullum, who will join Claudia and Mika at Glasgow Central Station.
Alongside this acclaimed lineup, and as part of The Piano family, globally celebrated singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, bandleader and composer Jon Batiste, will make a return, helping to mentor the cohort of home-grown pianists.
This series will reach the crescendo that is the final concert, taking place on the 9th of June at Birmingham Symphony Hall, widely considered one of the finest concert halls in the world.
The Piano was commissioned by Channel 4 Head of Specialist Factual, Shaminder Nahal and Senior Commissioning Editor, Documentaries, Madonna Benjamin. The Executive Producers from Love Productions are Kieran Smith, Martha Delap and Oliver Manley.
