BRADLEY & BARNEY WALSH RETURN WITH SEVENTH SERIES OF BREAKING DAD ON ITV

Bradley and Barney Walsh are back on the road together for another epic adventure on ITV with a brand new series of Breaking Dad coming later this year.

ITV have not yet formally announced the new series, however TV Zone understands it was recorded late last year and is due to air on ITV1 and ITVX this Spring. Production listings from production company Hungry Bear Media, and an updated CV from Barney Walsh's agency confirm the new series.

As ever, Bradley won’t quite be getting the rest and relaxation he is hoping for as Barney is planning a packed itinerary full of adrenaline rushing challenges to push his dad to the limit.

The last series, which aired last year and was thought of to be the last, saw the father and son experiencing the cultures of beautiful Asia taking in the sights and flavours of Japan and Thailand.

Meanwhile, Bradley Walsh was announced as host of new The Chase spin-off series The Chase Around The World on ITV. The new format will take contestants on a global adventure competition. This brand-new six-part series sees six pairs of contestants attempt to track down the biggest brains in Britain - all six of The Chasers - in undisclosed locations around the globe.

Unravelling puzzles along the way, the winning pair will pit their knowledge against The Chasers in order to win a life-changing prize pot. The Chase Around the World commission builds on the global phenomenon of the most successful and enduring quiz show format, The Chase.

Bradley Walsh said: “This bold new take on The Chase combines quizzing with travelling and will test contestants’ knowledge like never before. The Chasers are already famous around the world, so fans can look forward to seeing them ply their trade in some superb secret locations.”
