The Big Blow Out | Preview (E4)

The search for the next generation of super hair stylists begins with AJ Odudu hosting The Big Blow Out - a new competition series that celebrates all things Hair!

Joining her as series judges are legends in the hair industry, Sam McKnight and Lisa Farrall. Over the course of the series, 11 stylists face two days of tough challenges set to test their creativity, technical ability and passion.

Each week one won't make the cut and must leave the competition. To kick things off, stylists must create a mind-blowing, hair-raising creative design for The Masterpiece challenge themed 'This Is Me'.

This isn't hair you see coming down the high street but hair for editorial campaigns and high fashion catwalks. The designs should not only showcase their skills and imagination but should also give an insight into just who they are.

In the second challenge they face a surprise - being thrown in at the deep end for a real-life industry job. The stylists must hit the brief and style hair that captures movement and happiness for a mega hair brand and nail the perfect shot for their new hair campaign.

Who will be this week's start stylist and who will be getting the chop?

The Big Blow Out begins Monday 19th September on E4.
