McDONALD AND DODDS RETURNS FOR FOURTH SERIES ON ITV
The Bath-based detective drama starring Tala Gouveia and BAFTA Award winner Jason Watkins returns for a fourth series.
Each of the three feature-length films features a new murder mystery with the smart and ambitious DCI McDonald and the quietly brilliant DS Dodds working together to crack the cases.
In the first film, a body is found on a morning rush hour bus in Bath and McDonald and Dodds are then sucked into a mystery involving a priceless artefact, the birth of the blues and their own personal history.
The guest cast for this series includes Toby Stephens (Lost In Space), singer-songwriters Pixie Lott and Will Young, Hugh Quarshie (Stephen), Lydia Leonard (Gentleman Jack), Daniel Lapaine (Catastrophe), Dipo Ola (Landscapers), John Gordon Sinclair (Gregory’s Girl) and Ace Bhatti (Line of Duty).
Returning cast include Claire Skinner (Outnumbered) - who plays Chief Superintendent Ormond - and Charlie Chambers (EastEnders), who plays DC Goldie, while Bhavik C. Pankhania (World On Fire) joins the line-up as DC Lee.
McDonald And Dodds returns later this Summer on ITV1.
