LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: FULL RUNDOWN FOR TONIGHT'S EPISODE, THURSDAY 16th JULY 2026

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 and ITVX, here's a full rundown of tonight's episode...

MAYA JAMA RETURNS AS SIX ISLANDERS ARE LEFT AT RISK

As LI Fest comes to an end, Maya gathers the Islanders around the Firepit revealing the public have been voting for their favourite girl and favourite boy. 

The Islanders await their fate as Maya announces that the three boys and three girls with the fewest votes are at risk of being dumped from the Island.

Soon, the two Islanders with the fewest votes are revealed and learn their Love Island journeys have come to an end, one reflects, “It’s okay… I’m ready. I’ve had the best time ever.”

But just when the Islanders think the night is over, Maya has another surprise, “Another boy and another girl will be leaving the Villa tonight.”

Addressing the group, she tells them, “That decision will be down to all of you” Maya continues explaining “Today, you all gave your opinions anonymously but now it’s time to be honest face to face.” Which Islanders do you think are here for love? Who might be playing a game? And whose time has simply run out?

How will the Islanders approach the biggest decision they have faced so far?

THE ISLANDERS FACE AN IMPOSSIBLE DECISION

As the Islanders remain gathered around the Firepit, they are tasked with deciding which boy and which girl to dump from the Villa.

Inviting them to begin their discussions, Maya tells the group, “Now Islanders, you can discuss.”

Faced with an impossible choice, one Islander admits, “I don’t know what to do,” before another voices the group’s frustration, asking, “What the hell do we do?”

As opinions begin to differ, one Islander reflects, “There’s no right decision,” while another points out, “There’s obviously a reason,” as they consider why the four Islanders are in the bottom.

As they continue to discuss their decision they realise that their choice will impact not just the people they are voting for but other people's places in the Villa.

Unable to reach a unanimous decision, the Islanders decide to put it to a vote.  With emotions continuing to run high, another Islander admits, “I feel sick,”, as the final votes are counted, one girl quietly reflects, “Well… what’s done is done.”

As Maya asks whether they have reached a decision, “Please name the girl and boy you’ve decided to dump from the Villa,” one Islander stands to deliver the group’s verdict, explaining, “The show is to find love and we believe the decision we’ve come to gives the best possible chance of doing that.”

As the Islanders reveal their decision, what impact will it have on the Villa?

JASMINE OPENS UP ABOUT HER DOUBTS

As the Islanders reflect on the previous night's events, Jasmine speaks to Angelista about her relationship with Kavan. She explains, “I’ve just always felt that I’m further along in my connection and my feelings. At the start I didn’t mind it too much, but I thought that feeling would start to go… but it’s not.”

As she continues to open up, Jasmine admits she has fallen for Kavan and believes both he and the rest of the Villa know how she feels.

But despite her growing feelings, she reveals, “Recently he’s not been giving me that reassurance.”

Questioning whether they are on the same page, Jasmine confesses, “I just feel so much more than he does.”

As Jasmine begins to question their future, will Kavan be able to reassure her?
