ITV RUBBISH CLAIMS THAT PIERS MORGAN IS TO REPLACE DAVID WALLIAMS ON BGT

A spokesperson for the show has denied recent reports that Piers Morgan is to return to the BGT judging panel and take the place of David Walliams for the 2022 series.

Speaking to the RadioTimes, a Britain's Got Talent spokesperson said: “Unsurprisingly, during these times, it won’t come as a shock to the public to hear that no such discussions have taken place regarding BGT 2022”

RadioTimes also understands that judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams have all signed for another series. It's unclear whether Simon Cowell will be well enough to return when the auditions take place in January.

On Thursday 15th October, an insider told The Sun: “Britain’s Got Talent is one of the few Saturday night shows which continues to shine and stay relevant. But all shows need refreshing, and Piers will certainly do that. He has been approached by two senior execs and, for his part, has said he would do it if the terms are right. He will give the show back its edge and provide those brilliant water cooler moments. He will revitalise the series.”
