BBC Daytime has issued a callout for two pilots of new daytime quiz shows.

The division will reportedly spend between £60,000 and £80,000 on each 45-minute non-TX pilot. It's thought only one will then be commissioned for a full series.

Production will take place in Scotland and applicants will need to have produced at least 20 hours worth of quiz content for network television, have produced quizzes with a high level of intellectual rigour and worked with high-profile talent.

A commissioning brief issued today called for a “warm and inclusive show” with “surprising or exciting hosts”.

Submissions close on 13th November, with pilots filmed in Spring 2021.
