BBC AUTUMN ENTERTAINMENT AND REALITY HIGHLIGHTS, NEW AND RETURNING TITLES REVEALED

The new and returning BBC entertainment and reality titles due to air later this year have been revealed.

STRICTLY COME DANCING

Strictly Come Dancing will be waltzing it’s way back onto screens this Autumn for another series bringing joy, laughter and a serious amount of dance to audiences all across the UK. Made by BBC Studios Entertainment and broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, Strictly continues to capture the hearts of the nation. The latest run was the BBC’s biggest Unscripted series in 2024 with the main show averaging 8.8m viewers across the series with 10.1m tuning into the final.

MICHAEL McINTYRE'S THE WHEEL

Bafta Award-winning Michael McIntyre hosts the Saturday-night gameshow packed with huge stars, big laughs, and a colossal spinning wheel! Three contestants hope to answer their way to a fortune, guided by tonight’s seven celebrity experts. Can the famous faces help them to win life-changing cash? That all depends on the spin of The Wheel!

THE INNER CIRCLE

Hosted by TV and Radio presenter Amanda Holden, this innovative and exciting new quiz show will have a cash prize on the line as contestants compete in a series of rounds designed to test their general knowledge and strategic thinking. Across each episode, contestants will battle to win the cash prize and will be tested not just on what they know - but which of their fellow players they can trust.

ALAN CARR'S PICTURE SLAM

Picture Slam is the game where you need to know something about everything. In three teams of two, contestants have to battle against the clock in a series of thrilling rounds, to identify as many pictures as they can to be in with the chance of winning the £10,000 jackpot.

THE HIT LIST

Marvin and Rochelle Humes host the exciting and highly addictive music quiz where contestants must name as many hit songs and artists as possible under intense pressure.

DESTINATION X

Merging fantasy with reality in this larger-than-life adventure competition series, viewers will follow contestants as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime but have no idea where they are. In order to win, they must figure out their mystery locations.

Once they're on the blacked-out Destination X bus, the journey transforms into a real-life boardgame with challenges designed to offer clever clues as to their location, along with a few misdirects to keep them, and the viewers, always guessing. The series is presented by Rob Brydon.

STRANDED ON HONEYMOON ISLAND

Davina McCall will meet the singles at their first speed dating event in London, before they are matched into six couples and then stranded on a tropical island for the experience of a lifetime. Isolated and pitted against the forces of nature, will true love blossom and survive…or dive?

On these remote beaches, fledgling relationships are soon put to the test as the couples live out their honeymoon together and fend for themselves with few resources. Together they must communicate and collaborate to get by, with nowhere to run when the going gets tough. Will an escape from modern life bring them closer together or push them apart? Will it lead to love or loathing?

CELEBRITY TRAITORS

Claudia Winkleman has opened the castle doors to an all-star cast who are ready to play the ultimate game of deceit and betrayal. The multi-award-winning hit psychological game format The Traitors, presents a nine-part celebrity version, coming to BBC One and iPlayer this Autumn. The celebrities will play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning a cash prize up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.

THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE

A group of ambitious celebrity candidates will take on a tough challenge set by The Apprentice supremo as they battle it out in two rival teams to raise as much money as possible for Children In Need.

RuPAUL'S DRAG RACE UK

Control your excitement as twelve amazing drag queens compete to be crowned The UK’s Next Drag Race Superstar in one of the world’s most glamorous, funniest, and fiercely entertaining reality TV competitions. This year, Ru has many treats in store for viewers. Famed for its unpredictability, fans will be delighted with Ru’s new handpicked cast of rambunctious, crown thirsty queens and a competition with even more twists, turns, and sass.
