AVOIDANCE: FIRST LOOK AT SECOND SERIES OF ROMESH RANGANATHAN COMEDY

Romesh Ranganathan stars in Avoidance, a series about living your life avoiding conflict, avoiding making decisions and avoiding the mess that causes.



Returning to the series alongside Romesh Ranganathan are Jessica Knappett (Drifters), Kieran Logendra, Mandeep Dhillon (Afterlife), Lisa McGrillis (Mum) and Bruce Mackinnon (The Catherine Tate Show).



New cast for the second series includes Matthew Lewis (Harry Potter), Aisling Bea (This Way Up), Louise Ford (The Windsors), Olive Tennant (Belfast), Alex Ranganathan, Jessica Ransom (Horrible Histories), Paula Wilcox (Upstart Crow).


Plus Philip Jackson (Brassed Off), Ed Kear (Here We Go), Colin Hoult (Murder in Successville), Michael Spicer (The Room Next Door),and Brona C Titley (The Outlaws).




In the new series, Jonathan (Romesh Ranganathan) is back and he’s reinvented himself. He may have a new body, a new hobby, and a lot of lycra, but he’s still stuck avoiding conflict and all the mess that causes. Jonathan is determined to win back his ex-partner Claire (Jessica Knappett) and rebuild his family and make son, Spencer (Kieran Logendra) happy.



However, any chance of their love rekindling is complicated by new love interests Brett (Matthew Lewis) and Megan (Aisling Bea). Meanwhile, Jonathan’s sister, Dan (Mandeep Dhillon) and her wife Courtney (Lisa McGrillis) are expecting a baby and feel anything but ready.
