FIVE DATES A WEEK AXED BY CHANNEL 4 AFTER TWO SERIES

EXCLUSIVE

Five Dates A Week - formerly titled Five Guys A Week - will not be returning to Channel 4 for another series, TV Zone understands.

In Five Dates a Week, one singleton invites five potential partners of their choice to spend a week living with them – all at the same time. The format fast-tracks the ‘getting to know you’ phase of the relationship and gives the picker the opportunity to compare and contrast five dates – in real time.

In the series, the picker will move into a dreamy ‘love cottage’ for the week where they’ll invite five aspiring admirers to contend for romance. As they whittle down their five potential partners to just one – will the last one standing be their perfect match?

Five Dates A Week was originally titled Five Guys A Week. Following the success of the first series, Channel 4 ordered a second with a new title and tweaked format to include people of all sexualities and genders.

Five Dates A Week is available to stream on Channel 4. TV Zone approached Channel 4 and production for comment.
