After being pushed back not once but twice, ITV have now confirmed that the new series of The Voice UK will launch this Autumn It will be the first series since 2024 and over a year since it was recorded.

TV Zone understands the series was originally due to air last Autumn, before ITV pushed it back to January where the broadcast planned for it to take the slot vacated by Dancing On Ice on Sunday nights. However, ITV swapped out The Voice in favour of new gameshow The Floor (which the broadcaster originally planned to air on Saturday nights this Spring).
All these changes have left The Voice on the shelf for what will be well over a year, with next year's series set to begin filming before this year's airs. When The Voice does return next year, The Sun newspaper reports that Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones will not be coaches on the show due to other commitments - though this has not been confirmed by the duo or ITV.
This year's series of The Voice will see the return of the Battle rounds. Airing across 2x75' the Battles will air following the 6x75' audition episodes and be followed by the 1x120 semi-final and 110 minute-long series final. This series will be one episode longer than previous series at 10 episodes.
The iconic red chairs are ready to spin once again. Superstar coaches will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones return to the coaching panel, alongside last year’s winning coaches, McFly’s Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones, who also made history last series as The Voice UK’s first-ever double chair.
Also joining the line-up is megastar Kelly Rowland, bringing a wealth of industry experience and a fresh new dynamic to the battle for the UK’s next big star. Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, actress, producer and television personality Kelly Rowland rose to fame in the 1990s as a member of global pop supergroup Destiny’s Child.
At the helm once again is presenter Emma Willis, who will guide the singers through every high note, chair turn and dramatic showdown as they ultimately battle to win a life changing record contract with music giants Universal Music Group, £50,000 in cash and a dream holiday to Universal Studios Resort in Florida.
Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment & Daytime Commissioning, says: “We are delighted to have The Voice UK return. The new lineup brings something for everyone. With the return of our incredible coaches Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones, plus the addition of the amazing Kelly Rowland bringing fresh insights and even more energy to the panel, we’re set for another unmissable series full of heart, talent and standout moments.”
Diego Rincón, Creative Director at Lifted Entertainment (ITV Studios), says: “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Kelly Rowland to The Voice UK, joining our incredible panel of coaches.
