While City’s era of dominance under Pep Guardiola has stalled this season, they are contesting their third successive FA Cup final, having won it in 2023 and lost to bitter rivals Manchester United last season.

Palace’s two previous finals have both ended in defeat to United, latterly in 2016. The Eagles dared, and dazzled, in their most recent trip to Wembley though, with a ruthless 3-0 semi-final victory over Aston Villa, and they have only conceded one goal during their FA Cup run this season.

Palace and City have already met twice this season in the Premier League, with a 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park followed by a 5-2 home victory for Guardiola’s side last month after the Eagles had led 2-0.

BBC

Gary Lineker introduces live coverage of the Wembley showpiece as serial winners Manchester City face a Crystal Palace side vying for the first major trophy in their history.

Wayne Rooney, Micah Richards and Glenn Murray provide studio insight, while commentary comes from Guy Mowbray and Alan Shearer.

ITV

Mark Pougatch is joined by Roy Keane, Joleon Lescott, and Ian Wright to present all the action from the showpiece match, held at Wembley Stadium. With additional analysis from Laura Woods and Karen Carney, commentary by Sam Matterface, Lee Dixon and Ally McCoist, and reports from Gabriel Clarke,

The FA Cup final kicks-off at 4:30pm BST.
