STRICTLY COME DANCING ANNOUNCES NEW SPIN-OFF SERIES HOSTED BY ABI CLARKE AND TYLER WEST

The biggest range of Strictly Come Dancing programming on BBC iPlayer ever is led by new show Strictly: Lights Up, and further fab new exclusives and features for this year's hotly-anticipated series.

Hosted by comedian Abi Clarke and presenter and Strictly alum Tyler West, Strictly: Lights Up will be available exclusively on BBC iPlayer every Sunday night immediately after the results show has finished.

Abi and Tyler will take viewers straight on to the Strictly dance floor for immediate reactions from the night's eliminated couple, their dance off opponents - plus the judges, hosts, other Strictly stars and studio guests.

BBC iPlayer will also launch a new dedicated Strictly hub, featuring all things Strictly including a range of new exclusives.

Alongside Strictly: Lights Up there'll be new weekly training room episodes, where Abi visits different Strictly couples in rehearsals; plus a new weekly highlights show to round-up the week of Strictly Come Dancing. Every single dance of the series will also be available to watch individually whenever you want and, for the first time ever, each episode of Strictly Come Dancing will have the option to scroll through in chapters - letting viewers easily jump between their favourite couples and revisit unmissable Strictly moments.

Strictly returned on Saturday 19 September with its launch show, and goes live on Saturday 26 September on BBC iPlayer and BBC One. Strictly: Lights Up begins on BBC iPlayer on Sunday 4 October, when the first of this year’s celebrity couples will be eliminated from the competition.

Strictly Come Dancing is one of BBC iPlayer's most popular titles, with Strictly viewing increasing on the streamer every year since 2022. The Strictly love extends online, with last year's series receiving more than one billion video views across social media.
