TALK TV UNVEIL STUDIO FOR PIERS MORGAN UNCENSORED AHEAD OF LAUNCH LATER THIS MONTH
TalkTV will begin broadcasting live in the UK from state-of-the-art studio facilities in Ealing and at News UK’s News Building headquarters in London Bridge.
Piers Morgan Uncensored, fronted by one of the most outspoken and popular figures in international broadcasting, will be a fearless forum for lively, intelligent debate and agenda-setting interviews; celebrating free speech and the right for people to share their views.
In a global first, the new and unique sixty minute daily show will be broadcast on weeknights in the UK on TalkTV, streamed on FOX Nation in the US and aired in Australia on Sky News Australia.
The primetime launch schedule will also see the debut of The Talk with the legendary Sharon Osbourne. Airing weeknights on TalkTV, the panel debate will bring together five opinionated famous faces – all from different backgrounds and with differing views – to debate the most interesting stories of the day.
Talk TV’s flagship weeknight news programme will be called The News Desk, and will be presented by Tom Newton Dunn. It will offer high quality news, agenda setting interviews and balanced opinion in a fresh and contemporary format.
A family of regular panellists have been recruited from across the political spectrum: Adam Boulton, Anas Sarwar MSP, Bim Afolami MP, Douglas Murray, Emily Sheffield, Grace Blakeley, Isabel Oakeshott, James Slack, Kate McCann, Miatta Fahnbulleh and Tan Dhesi MP.
Tom Newton Dunn said: "The News Desk’s founding principle is to give viewers top quality news in a straight and balanced way, so that we win their trust. We serve no political agenda or ideology...
"We’re going to do that in a fresh and engaging format, and to help us we’re really pleased to have recruited 11 of the sharpest and most perceptive political voices in the UK who will take it in turns to make up our nightly panel. We’re also very lucky to have such a strong cadre of specialist journalists to draw upon for reports and analysis from across News UK’s breadth of titles. It’s hugely exciting to be offering something a little different."
TalkTV will go live for the first time on Monday 25th April on linear TV platforms Sky, Virgin Media, Freeview and Freesat. It will also be streamed via Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Samsung TV Plus and on YouTube, as well as via the Talk.TV website and TalkTV iOS and Android apps. TalkTV will also be available via Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and Twitter.
