Ben takes a call informing him that the verdict is in.  Eva gives him a supportive squeeze. In the court, the jury delivers their verdict.  Has justice been served?

In the café, Abi leaves a message for her landlord complaining about the damp in her flat telling Leanne that he never returns her calls and she doesn’t even know his name. In Speed Daal a huge bouquet arrives from Idris, when he arrives to apologise will she forgive him?  Abi arrives at Speed Daal with her phone to her ear and when she hears Idris' phone ringing she realises she has finally tracked down her landlord.

Later as Abi tucks a coughing Alfie up for the night we see the black mould behind his bed. Sam apologises to Nick for overreacting and accepts that he only wanted the best for him and he knows he is in the best place.  

ELSEWHERE At No.9, Cassie clocks Hope and Ruby engrossed in an email on Hope’s phone but when she tries to quiz them, they refuse to be drawn, and explain that it’s a surprise for Tyrone.

After waking up Alfie to find him struggling to breathe a panicked Abi phones Kevin who says he will drive them to A&E.

Idris is concerned when he sees them carrying Alfie out of the flat. On hearing the news Carl races to the hospital and the consultant tells them he is going to run some tests but they want to keep Alfie ICU overnight . Meanwhile at the flat Idris and Brody are shocked when they discover the mould on the flat walls. Hearing that Alfie is in a bad way, Idris races to the hospital, what reception will he receive? 

At the hospital, the doctor confirms that Alfie’s breathing difficulties are a direct result of the mould in his bedroom and that Abi should find somewhere new to live. Meanwhile Leanne and Alya point out to Idris that whoever he bought the flat from must have known about the damp and should be held to account.

How will Idris deal with the problem? Abi is concerned to see Idris and Brody behaving strangely. Abi takes Sally to one side and warns her that she saw Brody forcing a bloke into the back of Idris’s car and they were obviously up to no good. When Brody gives her money towards the housekeeping Sally confides in Tim that Idris isn’t all that he seems and he’s leading Brody into bad ways.

In the café, Hope assures Will that although he’s the focus of school gossip, it’s only in a good way and everyone’s saying nice things about him.  Aware that they were both victims of Megan, Daniel and Will agree to bury the hatchet.

Hope calls at the Rovers and tells Will she’s going to visit Sam after school and he’d be welcome to come too. Can Will summon the courage to go? In the Rovers, Tyrone and Fiz share a bottle of prosecco, but their romantic mood is ruined when Steve, Cassie and Tracy plonk themselves down uninvited.  

Cassie tells Steve that she is fed up with Tracy trying to drive a wedge between them. Tyrone tells Cassie if she really loves Steve she will have to live with. Deciding the time has come to claim her man Casse makes a bold move and drops onto one knee in the cab office and proposes - how will Steve react?

At No.11, George apologises profusely to Summer for ever suspecting her capable of murder and swears that he’ll make it up to her.  As Christina goes to put the kettle on, her phone vibrates.  Her face drops when she sees who it is and quickly kills the call.

When George suggests a romantic dinner at the bistro later, Christina turns him down, making out that she’s taken on another cleaning job.  George is disappointed. But what is Christina really up to?

Feeling let down by Steve, Cassie is annoyed to see him helping Tracy with a flower delivery and looking like a happy couple. Deciding to drown her sorrows she heads to the Chariot Square and, necking back vodka, chats up a bloke at the bar. Unaware that Steve is looking for her she makes a pass at the bloke, is she about to make a big mistake? 

Safely home from the hospital Abi and Alfie prepare to move into Kevin’s. Abi heads to the flat to pick up some things where she meets Idris and Brody who are unloading paint and tools to sort out the damp. Unimpressed by his efforts Abi tells him she is taking him to court. In the Rovers, Brody introduces Kit to his new boss, Idris.  Idris is taken aback to realise Brody’s Dad’s a police officer. 

Still suspicious about Christina, Glenda rifles through her handbag whilst Christina is in the loos at Roys Rolls. She’s shocked at what she finds. Will announces that he’s giving up athletics as it’s a constant reminder of Megan.  At No.9, a conspiratorial Hope tells Ruby that everything is in place for tomorrow.  When Fiz questions what they’re up to, Hope assures her it’s nothing bad, but just a nice surprise.

A self loathing Cassie returns home to see the family. Explaining she just needed some time to herself she accepts Hope’s invitation to a family meal at the Bistro. When Steve tells Cassie he wants to forget the last few days and get back to where they were she hides her guilt. Meanwhile Hope and Ruby reveal they have a surprise for Tyrone, they sent off a sample of his DNA, traced his Dad and he’s here now. How will Tyrone and Cassie react as Ross enters the Bistro? 

In the café, Cassie warns Ross that Tyrone is stubborn and unlikely to change his mind about meeting up with him.  Ross advises her to try harder.  Liking what she sees Tracy strikes up a conversation with Ross and when Tyrone and Cassie call at Speed Daal for a takeaway they are taken aback to find Steve, Tracy and Ross sharing a table. With little choice but to join them Cassie is worried when Tyrone starts to soften towards Ross and arranges to meet him for a chat.

Concerned about Christina’s behaviour George follows Christina to the precinct. He  watches in horror as she meets up with a man and embraces him.  George bounds over and demands to know what’s going on. Christina confesses to Geoge exactly how much trouble she is in. George advises her to come clean to her friends and hope they will understand. 

At No.4, Sally urges Abi to sue Idris over the mould and suggests they approach Adam. Sally and Abi meet Adam for a drink and persuade him to take on Abi’s case against Idris. Lisa calls at No.11 and tells Todd that they’ve reached a bit of a stalemate with regard to Theo’s murder.  Todd shows little interest which leaves Lisa suspicious. 

Kit is frustrated to be taken off Theo’s murder case. Meanwhile Lisa and McLaughlin visit Maria at the salon to go over her statement again. Sticking to her story that she was with Gary she heads home and insists Gary tells her everything about the night.  In the Rovers, Maria confides in Kit that things between her and Gary aren’t good and she’s sick of all his secrets and lies.

Betsy calls at Speed Daal and tells Dylan that she’s going to watch him while he works as they need to grab every last minute they can before she moves to London.
