WEEK 10

Tess and Claudia welcome our remaining couples back to the Strictly ballroom for another night of dancing. Judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke will be keeping a close eye on the latest set of routines and delivering their scores before you can cast your votes at the end of the show. The stars also face a brand new challenge that’s never been seen in the ballroom before. As the competition intensifies, who can handle the pressure?

On Sunday night, the couples' fate is sealed. As the results are revealed, who will be through to next weekend’s double header – musicals week and the quarter-final? The professionals perform another incredible group number, and there’s music from the brilliant Myles Smith. Another dance-off awaits two more couples, and with the competition entering its final stages, nobody wants to be the next to leave.

Strictly Come Dancing has announced Instant Dance, a fab-u-lous new dance challenge taking place in the Saturday 29 November live show. Overseen by Tess and Claudia, Instant Dance will challenge each remaining couple to pick a dance style at random from ones they have learnt in the competition so far.

They will then be played their accompanying music and - after a frantic dash through wardrobe to select and change into their costumes - each couple will have just 10 seconds on the countdown clock to decide exactly how they’re going to dance it.

After all six Strictly couples have danced, the Strictly judges will rank them and award their extra marks accordingly. A maximum of six marks will be awarded to the couple whose Instant Dance performance impressed them the most, right down to one point for the couple whose dance impressed them the least.

Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday on BBC One and iPlayer.
