For Facts Sake was a comedy quiz hosted by Mrs Brown's Boys star Brendan O'Carroll, with regular team captains Danny O'Carroll and Paddy Houlihan.

It claims to have celebrated ordinary people and their extraordinary facts where members of the audience are invited down to play the game. Two teams will compete in a series of entertaining rounds and games that uncover some amazing truths about the world we live in.

A BBC teaser shared at the time: With team captains from Mrs Brown’s Boys and celebrity experts expect laughs galore as the teams try to outfox each other with their fascinating facts and eye for true trivia.

Episode 1: This episode imparts some incredible facts on subjects ranging from bananas to hyenas. Expert guest Kirsty Gallacher teaches everyone about sport and Pat 'Pepsi' Shields plays the Bard, bringing some amazing truths about William Shakespeare to life.
