Ronan Keating’s Wild Atlantic is an Irish travelogue that will take audiences on an epic journey around the Wild Atlantic Coast of Ireland. Audiences will get an insight to Ronan’s childhood and family life as he visits Cork, Kerry, Mayo/Sligo, Donegal and Londonderry.

In episode one, Ronan begins his Wild Atlantic journey in County Cork - Ireland’s southernmost and largest county. Joining up with his nephew Ruairí, it doesn’t take long before we see Ronan’s competitive streak come out. The pair go head‑to‑head in the traditional Irish sport of road bowling, taking to the winding back roads around the port town of Castletown Berehaven.
Ronan also explores an expansive rewilding project, where he learns to forage for wild edible plants. And on the Beara Peninsula he visits the country’s first Tibetan Buddhist Temple and Retreat Centre.
Ronan comments: “It’s felt really special making this series, rediscovering magical places that have meant so much to me and my family. I was 16 when I left Ireland, and there was so much of the west coast I hadn’t seen. Now, I’m coming home, and I can’t wait for viewers to share all the laughter and tears along the way.”
Ronan Keating's Wild Atlantic begins Monday 16th March on BBC iPlayer.
