Hungry For It | Preview (BBC Three)

The doors to the HFI hub are open! Ten rookie cooks are setting off on the ultimate crash course for how to make it in the food business.

Peckham, South-East London is home to the Hungry For It hub, and the purpose built professional kitchens are where the cooks meet host Stacey Dooley and their game-changing mentors – TV chef, Big Zuu and personal chef to the stars, Chef Kay Kay.

The mentors set their first challenge called the Level Up, where the cooks have to transform ordinary food into extraordinary original dishes.

To celebrate their arrival at the hub, the theme today is party food and the cooks must each create their own fresh twist on a party food favourite.

The cooks are then tasked to work as a team in the pressure of a professional kitchen to serve burgers to 100 hungry diners in the Service challenge.

The cooks who fail to deliver face the first Knives Out challenge, where they have to recreate a recipe video exactly against the clock, testing their cooking skills under pressure.

Hungry For It begins Tuesday 7th June at 8pm on BBC Three.
