Amy De Bhrun and Eoin Macken star in this detective drama. Forced to collaborate on a serious crime, contrasting detectives Philip Boyd and Aoife Regan, with clashing personalities and backgrounds, overcome initial friction to form an unlikely but formidable crime-fighting partnership.

Episodes 1 & 2: When the body of a woman washes up on a beach in Northern Ireland, Detective Boyd is called to investigate, but he's not the only detective with an interest in the case, and must work with detective Regan from the Republic Of Ireland who shows up at the crime scene as the victim is believed to have been murdered in the south and drifted north across the international border.
Episode 3 & 4: Regan and Boyd investigate an abandoned fuel tanker on the border. It could be booby trapped by dissident Republicans. Instead, they find the driver shot dead and two migrants hidden inside, one of whom is also dead. Regan and Boyd begin a manhunt for the people-traffickers responsible, uncovering a tangled we of political influence, family secrets and lies.
Episode 5 & 6: The bloodied body of a hurling star is discovered and Regan and Boyd are tasked with finding the culprit from within the world of Gaelic sports. Sporting rivalries and jealousies are laid bare as a whole community come under suspicion. Digging deeper, the detectives uncover a gambling a prostitution ring connected to the victim.
Borderline begins Friday 3rd October at 9pm on ITV1.
