I'M A CELEBRITY... GET ME OUT OF HERE!
Daily, ITV1
The new line up of celebrities for 2025 will leave their plush pads and luxuries far behind, as they spend up to three weeks taking on the Australian jungle with a whole host of surprises created just for them.
Whoever ends up in the legendary jungle camp will find themselves cut off from the outside world, and stuck on a diet of rice and beans. Their fate will be in the hands of viewers who have the power to decide whether they deserve to face a dreaded Bushtucker Trial.
SUMMERWATER
Sunday-Tuesday, Channel 4
A thrilling and compulsive drama about relationships, sex, identity, and not being able to escape yourself, Summerwater takes us on a journey of wit, heart, and tragedy. An unflinching yet empathetic look at human nature across generations, the series provides a riveting portrait of the divided nation that is modern Britain.
Each episode is set over the same 24 hours and seen through the different perspectives of the inhabitants in each cabin. In a Scottish holiday park enduring unpredictable weather, the residents of Summerwater attempt to escape life's problems in the serenity of isolation.
Far from a relaxing retreat, Summerwater turns out to be a mysterious, all-knowing place, where residents are confronted with their deepest desires and darkest truths. Weaving together the lives of several families, as they are observed closely from their disparate cabins, Summerwater shows how the simmering tensions between holidaymakers leads to a devastating climax.
CELEBRITY MASTERCHEF
Monday, BBC One
Five celebrities are waiting in the wings, ready to take on the first of three weeks of heats. None of them will have any idea what to expect, but they will need to settle in pronto if they hope to make it to this week’s quarter-final. Set to unearth who could be style over substance, Celebrity MasterChef 2025 kicks off in dazzling style.
The five stars donning MasterChef aprons in the first week of the competition are pop star and actor Antony Costa, Paralympian and actor Gaz Choudhry MBE, drag artist Ginger Johnson, actor Katie McGlynn and TV personality Uma Jammeh.
COOPER AND FRY
Tuesday, 5
Set in the mystery-shrouded Peak District, DC Ben Cooper (Robert James-Collier), an affable local, is thrown together with guarded newcomer DC Diane Fry (Mandip Gill), to investigate a string of mysterious deaths. Based on the bestselling novels by Stephen Booth, the two mismatched detectives must work together on a series of unusual cases to get results.
Despite Fry’s pessimism of local folklore, they’ll need to navigate not only the twisted paths of the cases before them, but also the shadowy beliefs that still hold sway in the hills. As their personal lives begin to intertwine and past scars look to be healed, a unique friendship is formed. While Cooper and Fry unearth old rituals and beliefs, they must rely on each other to not only bring justice, but to survive.
THE DEATH OF BUNNY MUNRO
Thursday, Sky Atlantic
Following his wife Libby’s death by suicide, sex addicted door-to-door beauty salesman and self-professed lothario Bunny Munro (Matt Smith), finds himself saddled with his young son, Bunny Junior, and only a loose concept of parenting. As the two struggle to contain their grief in wildly different ways, Bunny takes Junior on the road for an increasingly out-of-control door-to-door sales tour around Brighton and the surrounding coast.
Bunny bounces from one sales pitch to the next, trying to seduce any woman he meets, while Junior kills time talking to the ghost of his mother and grappling with the dawning realisation that his dad isn’t just fallible, he’s a fucking mess. As Bunny starts to unravel, he realises he must do something to rescue his son from his own outdated notions of what it is to be a man; to save him from becoming another Bunny Munro.
DADDY ISSUES
Friday, BBC One
Set in Stockport the new series will see Gemma (Aimee Lou Wood) coming to terms with life as a mum while Malcolm (David Morrissey) is just thrilled to be a grandad. But wherever Malcolm is, Derek (David Fynn) is never too far behind. Good job Gemma can turn to best friend Cherry (Taj Atwal) for advice as well as sister Catherine (Sharon Rooney) and boss Rita (Sarah Hadland).
However, a surprise visitor forces Malcolm to confront his past, and Gemma to face her future. From dating disasters and failed romances through to toxic friendships and messy family dynamics, the show is a big-hearted story about a father and daughter, and the reality of facing up to parenthood – at any stage of life.
