I'M A CELEBRITY SOUTH AFRICA
Monday, ITV1
Campmates have already proved that they can survive the Australian jungle, but this is I’m A Celebrity… on a whole new level, it’s where legends are made. The trials are tougher than ever and the stakes couldn't be higher. With relentless twists and turns, the campmates will never know what’s coming next. They will be faced with challenges at every turn, quickly learning that with big decisions come even bigger consequences…
TWENTY TWENTY SIX
Wednesday, BBC Two
Ian Fletcher starts a new chapter in Miami as director of integrity for the Fifa World Cup, overseeing the biggest football event in the world. His first challenge is to lead the Oversight Team towards a decision on which cities should host the semi-final matches.
It’s hard enough to get the team to agree, and the fact that it’s also Miami Day on the day of the announcement, and that no-one knows what that is, only serves to complicate things. Meanwhile, the Social Media Team work on a new sustainability initiative based around human waste. The 'power of poop' may just be the solution everyone needs.
THE ASSEMBLY
Wednesday, ITV1
National treasure Sir Stephen Fry, former Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, comedy legend Sir Lenny Henry, actor Anna Maxwell Martin and BRIT award-winning rapper and I’m A Celebrity star Aitch will each take to the hot seat for an interview like no other. They will face a no-holds-barred range of questions that no chat show, press junket or even parliamentary grilling has ever dared to ask.
TASKMASTER
Thursday, Channel 4
The lure of claiming the fabled Taskmaster trophy has attracted five more comics to participate in the fun and games. They are: Amy Gledhill, Armando Iannucci, Joanna Page, Joel Dommett and Kumail Nanjiani. Like so many before them, they believe they can impress the Taskmaster - but only one will be immortalised as the 21st Taskmaster Champion.
Over ten episodes we’ll see them take on a series of ludicrous tasks and be judged by Greg, who will dish out points according to competence and skill. At the heart of everything is Little Alex Horne, expertly administrating every task and willingly involving himself where needed. He is Greg’s eyes on the ground and those eyes have seen some astonishing things this series.
FIRST DATES
Friday, Channel 4
The saying goes, there’s someone out there for all of us. Channel 4’s First Dates Restaurant is living proof that it’s true. In this award-winning fly-on-the-wall dating series, real people go on first dates in a restaurant with a unique twist: No one in it besides the staff has ever laid eyes on one another before. All the diners are single, and on a real blind date. Aged from 18 to 80, hopeful singletons from all over the country are looking to meet the man or woman of their dreams. In First Dates, we’re there with them, from awkward greetings to backfired chat-up lines and the earliest flushes of love.
CELEBRITY BRIDGE OF LIES
Saturday, BBC One
Celebrity Bridge of Lies will once again see much-loved actor and presenter Ross help steer teams of celebrities across the interactive bridge on the studio floor. But they’ll have to be careful to step on the truths and avoid the lies, or they’ll risk falling off and out the game and could go home empty-handed.
YOUR SONG
Sunday, Channel 4
Your Song will celebrate the nation’s hidden voices by giving non-professional singers the chance to perform a song that holds deep personal meaning to them. From love ballads passed down through generations to anthems that lifted spirits in difficult times, these powerful performances will take place on a pop-up stage equipped with a live house band.
Hidden from the singers during their performances, Paloma and Sam will emerge to offer their expertise and heartfelt reactions. Alongside the mentors, host Alison Hammond will bring her trademark compassion, humour, and unique ability to connect with our singers – encouraging them to open up and tell their story.
