RATINGS REPORT: 20-26 APRIL 2026, MOST WATCHED SHOWS REVEALED

The latest 7-day consolidated ratings for programmes shown or released for the last week have been released by BARB. The top-50 breakdown can be found on BARB's website here.

Race Across The World continued and topped the week for the BBC, with the fourth episode watched by 5,395,200 viewers. It was closely followed by Have I Got News For You which continued with 5,317,000 on Friday night.

In drama, Sheridan Smith led the cast of new BBC comedy The Cage which opened with 4,054,800 whilst Beyond Paradise continued with 4,563,900. On Saturday night, Casualty returned for a new run to 2,566,000.

I'm A Celebrity South Africa continued with 3,539,100 on Monday night, concluding with 4,005,800 for its dramatic live final on Friday night. Interior Design Masters with Alan Carr returned for its seventh series to 2,634,100 whilst MasterChef entered a new era to 2,258,300.
