The girl group search for the next global singing sensation, with the winning band joining them on their next UK tour. Tonight, the chosen six bands make their debuts, competing to impress and performing head to head for the very first time, with only five bands making it through to the next round

Strictly Come Dancing

Saturday, 7:25pm, BBC One

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present as the 12 celebrity and professional dancer pairings take to the dancefloor for their debut performances. Each of the performances will be critiqued and scored by Strictly judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse, but the competitors will escape the public vote until the following weekend

Piers Morgan's Life Stories

Sunday, 9pm, ITV

As he turns 80, Cliff Richard joins Piers Morgan to look back on his life and six-decade career. He recalls his journey from a poverty-stricken childhood, how he became Britain's first rock-and-roll star, and at one stage the biggest selling singles artist in the world

The comedian takes the chat show out of the studio and onto the high street, as he and a selection of celebrity guests hit the shops

Jason Manford hosts from The London Palladium, celebrating the best of British theatre and featuring performances from nominated musicals & Juliet, and Dear Evan Hansen. Other nominees include Hayley Atwell, Sharon D Clarke, Juliet Stevenson and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who are all up for Best Actress, and Toby Jones, James McAvoy, Wendell Pierce and Andrew Scott vying for Best Actor. Lyricist Don Black will be one of two award winners also being honoured
