ARE YOU THE ONE?: MTV LINES UP UK VERSION OF REALITY SERIES

MTV have commissioned a UK version of dating format Are You The One?, to be produced by Lime Pictures.

The series, which is hosted by presenter Joelah Noble, follows 20 singletons after they have been secretly paired into couples through a 'matchmaking algorithm'.

In each episode of the 10-week series, each contestant will be paired with a potential match as the group is subjected to a series of challenges, activities and revelations.

If the entire house can identify the 10 perfect matches by the end of the series, they will not only have a ready-made partner, but also take home a cash prize. Are You the One? UK is commissioned for MTV International by Kelly Bradshaw and Craig Orr.

Kelly Bradshaw, senior vice-president at MTV Entertainment, said: "We’re expanding our proven global formats strategy by bringing the first-ever UK version of Are You The One? to MTV audiences outside of the US. MTV’s hit reality formats continue to travel and resonate with audiences around the world across platforms."

The series will air on international MTV channels and Paramount+ in the UK this summer.
