LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: THURSDAY 06 JUNE 2024

Here's a rundown of what happens on tonight's episode of Love Island, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.

NEW ARRIVAL UMA SPENDS ALONE TIME WITH AYO AND JOEY

New girl Uma has just arrived at the Villa and heads straight to the Hideaway with Ayo. Ayo says to Uma, “You’re gorgeous!” 

Uma says, “I like your style. You’re obviously really, really good looking. You’re tall. I’m just intrigued by you.”

Meanwhile, the Islanders comfort Mimii who says, “I just don’t want people bringing attention to it.”

Uma and Ayo spend time getting to know one another. Uma then says, “That was a lovely date. Thank you so much - I enjoyed chatting with you. Now, you can go and fetch me Joey.”

Joey then heads to the Hideaway to spend some alone time with Uma. 

Uma says to Joey, “You smell lovely.”

Joey says, “Thank you. You smell good too. You smell nice, you smell reem.” 

Uma says, “You’ve got lovely eyes.”

Joey says, “You’ve got lovely lips.”

Uma and Joey soon return to the Villa. But who has Uma got her sights set on? 

UMA’S ARRIVAL LEAVES JOEY DOUBTING HIS CONNECTION WITH SAMANTHA

While Ayo and Uma are in the Hideaway the girls head downstairs as Joey reveals to Samantha that Uma whispered ‘I’ll see you later’ in his ear. Joey senses Samantha is irritated asking, “Why are you getting the hump anyway?”

The boys are discussing the girls’ reaction to Uma’s arrival but the girls overhear their conversation. 

Joey says, “The whole time I’ve been here, I’ve been very transparent. I’m keeping my options open and talking to everyone. Obviously, I’m coupled up with Samantha but this always happens. I’m really trying my best here to not dive in deep and it’s still happening.”

Ciaran asks Joey, “Do you think that’s a bit of an eye opener though? If it’s like this now, what could it be like in a week in here?”

Joey says, “I don’t want to be closed off right now.” 

Is Joey still keen to get to know Samantha? 

CIARAN IS LEFT TORN BETWEEN HARRIETT AND NICOLE

Despite being coupled up with Harriett, Ciaran has also been getting to know Nicole. 

Ciaran and Nicole are having a chat in the garden and it’s clear sparks are flying between the pair. Ciaran says, “I want to kiss you right now.”

Conscious that Harriett is in the garden, Nicole says, “It’s so hard isn’t it? We can’t, we’ve got to behave.”

Later, the Islanders head to bed and Harriett and Ciaran share a smooch under the covers. But the next day Ciaran decides to make Nicole a coffee and not Harriett.

Harriett and Nicole have a chat on the daybeds and swap notes on Ciaran. Nicole wastes no time in pulling Ciaran for a chat as she questions him on his connection with Harriett. 

Ciaran then reveals he kissed Harriett in bed last night and Nicole is left shocked and frustrated with both him and Harriett.

Will Nicole call time on getting to know Ciaran?
