THE JOHN BISHOP SHOW FACING UNCERTAIN FUTURE ON ITV

EXCLUSIVE

The John Bishop Show is facing an uncertain future on ITV, with a third series yet to be commissioned by the broadcaster.

TV Zone understands that the main reason behind the uncertainty is scheduling conflicts which mean Bishop is unable to commit to the series. Talks are still ongoing and if a third series were to happen, it's unlikely to air in its usual January/February slot.

Each episode of The John Bishop Show saw John bringing viewers a mix of his trademark everyman stand-up, reviewing the week’s events and shooting the breeze with some very special celebrity guests from the world of film, TV, music and sport.

Co-produced by So Television and Lola TV, the chat show launched in January 2022 with stars including Courteney Cox, Hugh Bonneville, Jason Manford, Maya Jama, Michelle Keegan, Bill Bailey, James Nesbitt, Mandip Gill and Oti Mabuse.

The series was also commissioned for an end-of-year special in 2022.

The John Bishop Show is available on ITVX.
