The new and returning titles airing on ITV this August revealed.

THE CHASE AROUND THE WORLD
Hosted by Bradley Walsh, The Chase Around the World is an exciting new prime time format from the creators of ITV’s award-winning and globally successful game show, The Chase.
The brand-new six-part series sees six pairs of contestants embark on a global adventure competition as they attempt to track down the biggest brains in Britain - all six of The Chasers - in undisclosed locations around the globe. Unravelling puzzles along the way, the winning pair will pit their knowledge against The Chasers in order to win a life-changing prize pot.
VAN DER VALK
The return of Van Der Valk sees the Dutch detective and his team solving three more homicides in the city. In the first episode the death of a whistleblower under police protection prior to a court hearing means Van Der Valk and his team are called in to make sure the second witness makes it to court. The situation is complicated by the fact that the protection officer in charge of the first victim is Kalie Tenkers, a former flame of Piet’s.
Fair to say there is no love lost between the two, especially when he suggests she might have been involved in the killing… In episode two the team are called in when an environmental campaigner is murdered on the eve of a global conference. Several potential suspects are caught on CCTV, one of which would appear to be Cobie Stegenga, a famous singer who went missing and is now presumed dead. PROFESSOR T
Six months on from season three’s devastating finale, dark clouds loom over the team. Consumed by grief, Dan dives headfirst into his work under the supervision of DCI Goswami who struggles to maintain order. The Professor takes up a very unexpected new hobby: avoiding the police at all costs.
Dr Helena Goldberg intervenes to help but soon begins to question her own integrity as his therapist. The police team continues to fight complex and dangerous cases with the addition of an eager new team member, DC Chloe Highsmith. The Dean is struck by the shocking return of an old flame, Zelda - Adelaide’s sister and Jasper’s aunt. Love is on the horizon and even Jasper realises heartstrings plucked in his own heart…
COOKING WITH THE STARS
Each celebrity will be paired with an accomplished chef who will mentor and teach them to produce delicious dishes that will be judged by the other professional chefs. At the end of each episode, the bottom two will have a cook-off as they create a dish independently without the help of their mentor.
The dishes will then be blind tasted by the professional chefs, but, unaware of whose food they are tasting, the professionals could go from being their protege’s greatest supporter to unwittingly voting them out of the competition.

THE TWISTED TALE OF AMANDA KNOX
A limited series inspired by the story of how Amanda Knox was wrongfully convicted for the tragic murder of her roommate, Meredith Kercher, and her journey to set herself free. The series stars Grace Van Patten, Sharon Horgan, John Hoogenakker, Francesco Acquaroli, Giuseppe De Domenico and Roberta Mattei.
