HOLLOAKS LATER RETURNS TO CHANNEL 4 THIS AUTUMN FOR 30th ANNIVERSARY

Hollyoaks Later is set to return this October for the Channel 4 soap’s 30th birthday week, starring current, returning and new characters embarking on after-dark escapades.

The episode will see the return of Warren Fox and Theresa McQueen , as well as an introduction to new character Gemma, as Tisha Merry joins Hollyoaks cast as series regular (press release to follow).

Hollyoaks Later has a history of airing some of soap’s most spine-chilling twists over its 17-year tenure, and viewers can expect the same level of high-stakes drama for this Autumn special… 

This is the latest offering of Later since 2020, which was the second ever most-streamed Hollyoaks episode, as serial killer Breda was killed by her son with a knitting needle and Tony saw saved from a burning pig farm where he had been held hostage.

Talking about the Hollyoaks Later announcement, Jamie Lomas said “It’s great to be back for Hollyoaks 30th celebrations and what better way to return than a Laters. 

“Warren has been busy since you last saw him, wanting to rebuild his empire and start afresh after the heartbreak with Mercedes. We’ll be filming a lot on location and they’re pulling out all the stops so I’m looking forward to it.”

Jorgie Porter added “It’s really exciting to be a part of Laters, I’ve been in so many over the years and they’re always my favourite -  Hopefully I get a swear word this time.

“Theresa is scheming with an unlikely business partner and its fun to see her living life on the edge again. It’s incredible to time my return with the Hollyoaks 30th birthday week too, I couldn’t miss it.”
