FOOTBALLERS' DAUGHTERS: NEW REALITY SERIES REPORTEDLY IN THE WORKS

A new reality series following a group of daughters of famous footballers is reportedly in the works, according to reports from The Sun.

The series, being developed by Lime Pictures (The Only Way Is Essex, Celebs Go Dating) will follow the women’s daily lives and look at the 'highs and lows' of being related to a footballer.

If commissioned, it would see them follow their dreams away from the football pitch and will show the barriers they face when trying to make a name for themselves and have their own careers.

Names in the frame to take part include Love Island's Gemma Owen and Celebrity Big Brother star Bianca Gascoigne - both daughters of famous footballers.

The Sun reports that ITV are eyeing up the series.

A source told The Sun: "This new series is being billed as a one-of-a-kind show which will reveal what it is really like to be the daughter of a famous football star. Lime are developing the concept now and ITV have shown a real interest in it.,,

"Gemma is top of their casting wish list. Her dad Michael is one of England’s most famous footballing stars and given her huge popularity since she appeared on Love Island – she is the person they want signed up...

"Bianca Gascoigne is also on the list and has been approached about appearing. Anyone who thinks being a footballer’s daughter is an easy ride is in for a shock."
