EURO 2024: TODAY'S FIXTURES, SATURDAY 29 JUNE

Here's a rundown of today's fixtures at Euro 2024 and which broadcaster you can watch on.

Switzerland v Italy

5pm, BBC One

Gary Lineker presents live coverage from the knockout stages of Euro 2024 as reigning champions Italy continue the defence of their crown against unbeaten Switzerland. Commentary comes from Steve Bower and Danny Murphy.

Italy qualified for the last 16 as runners-up in Group B after beating Albania but losing to Spain and drawing with Croatia. Switzerland did not lose in the group stage as they finished second to Germany, having drawn with both the hosts and Scotland and defeating Hungary.

This is the fifth time the two nations have met at a major tournament, with Italy triumphing in the last two, including a 3-0 win in the group stage of Euro 2020 on their way to winning the title.

Germany v Denmark

8pm, ITV1

Mark Pougatch is joined by Roy Keane and Ian Wright for live coverage, with pitchside reports from Connie McLaughlin and commentary from Clive Tyldesley and Ally McCoist. Germany and Denmark meet in Dortmund in the round of sixteen in a repeat of the famous European Championship final from 1992.

After being handed a late entry to the tournament due to Yugoslavia's withdrawal the Danes upset the odds in a memorable campaign which culminated with a 2-0 victory over World Champions Germany in Gothenburg. The class of 2024 edged through to the knockout stages courtesy of a 0-0 draw against Serbia but will be up against a confident young German team blessed with talented stars like Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz.
