DANCING ON ICE CANCEL STUDIO AUDIENCE AFTER LOCKDOWN ANNOUNCEMENT

Exclusive: Dancing On Ice cancel studio audience plans.

After Boris Johnson's latest announcement on Monday, it has been confirmed that Dancing On Ice will not have a studio audience (in-person or virtual) for its next series. This position will be reviewed if/when the guidance is changed.

The original plan was for a live studio audience sat in pods, with each pod contains a different number of seats. Pro routines were pre-recorded in December, similar to Strictly, to limit contact between pro skaters during the series in the new year.

New series starts 17th January on ITV. For more information on the series, click here.
