JON RICHARDSON TRAVELS WITH MOTHER-IN-LAW FOR C4 TRAVELOGUE

Comedian Jon Richardson has filmed a 1x60' travel pilot for Channel 4, with his mother-in-law as his travel partner.

Exclusively revealed by British Comedy Guide, the 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown star has shot the hour long pilot with Lucy Beaumont's mother. Married couple Jon and Lucy currently star in Dave original comedy Meet The Richardsons.

The pilot is reportedly titled 'Richardson: Take My Mother-In-Law' and will follow the Jon and his mother-in-law Gill Adams as they travel around Spain, exploring the surroundings and experiencing the local culture.

The programme is produced by 'King Of Sunshine Productions', who are also behind new Channel 4 panel show Perfect Couples, which is hosted by Jon and Lucy.

Sohail Shah, Managing Director of King Of Sunshine Productions, said via BCG: "When Jon Richardson married Lucy Beaumont, he married her whole family too. Jon's relationship with his mother-in-law, Gill, is indescribable...

"...so perhaps just seeing what happens when they spend time together in Spain will tell you everything you need to know about the family dynamic. The show has sun, sangria and a son-in-law in search of happiness for his mother-in-law. And himself."

Channel 4 have not officially announced the programme, however it is reported the 1x60' pilot will air this Autumn.
