90 DAY FIANCE UK: MEET THE CAST OF SERIES 2 AND LAUNCH DATE REVEALED
Discovery UK have confirmed the UK launch date for the second series of hit dating format 90 Day Fiance UK - a third series has also been commissioned, to air in Summer 2024.
The upcoming second series will land Sunday 16th July and continue to put a 'unique British spin' to the hugely successful and top-performing global franchise. The CPL Productions UK version will follow eight Brits whose pursuit to find the one has led to them finding long-distance love, with many physically meeting for the first time through the series.
Followed for 90 days, the couples decide whether they are ready to spend the rest of their lives together as they navigate the reality of long-distance romance, which often involves a collision of cultures, explosive family dramas and dating dilemmas.
Murray Boland, Creative Director of CPL Productions, previously said: “90 Day Fiancé is one of the best relationship shows on TV. The American series is absolutely brilliant and we are so excited to be making it in the UK.”
The Cast
Shane (aged 27 from Devon) and Mert (aged 28 from Turkey) met in Turkey last summer before beginning a whirlwind romance.
Tionne (age 21 from Derby) has already picked out the ring she wants David (age 24 from Dominican Republic) to buy her, but will David be able to afford Tionne's extravagant lifestyle?
Rebekah (age 27 from Chesterfield) and Cristian (age 29 from Argentina) have already booked a venue for their wedding later this month.
Louise (age 39 from Gloucester) and Jose (age 29 from Colombia) met on social media over a year ago and immediately hit it off.
Michael (aged 37 from Essex) and Mercy (age 28 from Kenya) found love on a dating app in 2021, and are now planning their wedding.
Robert (age 47 from Glasgow) and Assel (age 35 from Kazakhstan) have been together since 2021, but Assel is yet to tell Robert she loves him, despite the fact he's told her.
Series 1 couple Kadie (27, West Yorkshire) and Alejandro (31, Mexico) are back for more, but their relationship hits a few bumps in the road as they prepare for their big day.
