WOMEN'S WORLD CUP TODAY: WEDNESDAY 26 JULY

The BBC and ITV will provide live television coverage of the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. In total all 64 matches from the tournament, which starts in Auckland on July 20, will be broadcast in the UK on either the BBC or ITV, except for the Final, which will be shown across both BBC One and ITV1.



Japan v Costa Rica

6am, ITV

Live coverage of the Group C match, held at Dunedin Stadium in New Zealand. With commentary by Tom Gayle and Siobhan Chamberlain.



Spain v Zambia

8:30am, BBC

Reshmin Chowdhury introduces live coverage of the Group C game as Spain take on Zambia, alongside Fara Williams and Anita Asante. Commentary from Vicki Sparks and Karen Bardsley.


Canada v Republic of Ireland

1pm, ITV

Laura Woods presents the Group B match, held at Perth's Rectangular Stadium. With analysis from Eni Aluko and Emma Byrne, and commentary by Sam Matterface and Lucy Ward.
